Union St. House Gallery
This house at 1315 Union Street near Gloucester has been another structure that has garnered a great deal of attention from HBF, the City of Brunswick and the Preservation Board.
Built as a family home in 1898, this stunning Victorian was later zoned commercial and used as offices and a community artist space, and most recently had undergone the beginnings of a renovation now abandoned. This beautiful home has been vacant for many years now and is showing signs of vagrancy and distress.
Thanks to the efforts of our community, this historic building has been spared joining the roster of historic homes lost to the bulldozer and has passed to the hands of the City of Brunswick. This beautiful house is a gorgeous example of Victorian architecture and deserves a second chance to shine!
